Privacy

We don’t ask who you are, and there are no accounts.

What you make

It is made on your own device. Your settings and anything you save are kept in your browser’s storage and are never sent to us. Clearing your browser’s data for this site deletes them.

Links you share

A link you share carries what it opens in the part of the address after the #, which browsers don’t send to any server: only the people you give it to see it.

Editable codes

An editable code points to a short link of ours, so where it leads can change later. Making one sends that address to our links service, which keeps it, counts the scans per day, and lets only the key kept in your browser change it.

Counting visits

We may count page views with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and doesn’t identify you. It is the only counting we do: there are no third-party ads or trackers.

Fonts

The typefaces come from this site, like everything else on the page: your browser doesn’t ask Google or anyone else for them.

Reporting a problem

If you use “Something wrong?”, we receive what you write and your email if you give one. Only if you tick the box do we also receive what you were working on and technical details (the page, browser, screen size, language and recent errors); private links and keys are taken out first. We don’t keep your IP address. Reports are deleted after 180 days.

Hosting

The site is static files served by Cloudflare, which handles the usual request data, such as IP addresses, to deliver and protect it.
